Physicochemical Properties: Zinc oxide white hexagonal crystal system crystalline or powder; odorless, nontoxic, and fine and smooth. Relative density is 5.606, refractive index 2.008-2.029, melting point 1975°C. Soluble in acid, sodium hydroxide and ammonium chloride; insoluble in water, ethanol and ammonia; and it is amphoteric oxide. It can absorb carbon trioxide and water in the air to produce zinc carbonate in yellow color. While heated, it becomes yellow and resumes white after cooling down. It is ultraviolet radiation resistant, and will not become black meeting with sulfureted hydrogen.

Uses: Zinc oxide used as white dyestuff and used in printing and dyeing, paper, match and medicine industry. And used in rubber industry as vulcanization activator, reinforcement agent and coloring agent of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. Also used in the processing of zinc chrome yellow, zinc acetate, zinc carbonate, zinc chloride and etc. Furthermore, it is also used for making electron laser materials, fluorescent powder, forage additives, catalysts, magnetic materials and etc.

Processing Method: Heat zinc ingot to 1000°C to have it melted and gasified, and then import hot air for oxidization to produce zinc oxide; after cooling, by cyclone separation to collect fine particles into bag, and thereby finished product of zinc oxide is obtained.
